The tour starts with a pick up at your hotel, with 2 departure times, in the morning at 09; 00 AM and noon at 01; 30 PM. Please select a departure based on your convenience in choosing a tour time. The first visit to the royal heritage temple mengwi by the name of the Royal Taman Ayun Temple, a temple that has a roof that is up to 11 levels. Then the second visit continues to the famous water temple in the village of Beraban with the name Tanah Lot Temple, one of the temples that has become an icon of Bali. If you are more comfortable visiting this temple at sunset time. Please select the tour departure time at the day time. After the tour finished you will be escorted back to hotel.
Royal Taman Ayun Temple
Taman Ayun Temple is one of the most historic relics by Mengwi kingdom for the Mengwi people, this temple is used to worship the ancestral spirits of the former kings. And in the temple, Meru was built which functioned to worship the Gods to ask for the welfare of the Mengwi people. Meru had levels roof uneven number from roof level 1,2,3,5,7 untill up to 11 levels, the higest level roof actually dedicated to higest Gods.
When you walk in this area of the Mengwi royal temple, you will see part of this temple is divided into 3 areas, namely outer jaba, middle jaba and inner jaba.
Tanah Lot Temple
Tanah Lot Temple is one of the most famous temples on the island of Bali which was built by a holy priest from Java named Dang Hyang Nirartha in the 16th century. This temple is used to worship the god of the sea. There are several temples built in this area that support the main temple of Tanah Lot. The weather changes frequently and the high waves have eroded some of the temple, so in 1987 the local government carried out a preservation by making the first renovations to preserve the authenticity of this temple. In this temple there is a large ceremonial celebration which is held every 210 days according to the Balinese Hindu calendar.
