Discover the Magic of Chocolate in the Heart of the Rainforest
Join us on the best chocolate tour and taste one of the most delectable foods from the rainforest. During this tour, you will be taken through Tirimbina’s rainforest across the longest hanging bridge in the region to a traditional cacao plantation where you will have the opportunity to taste the cacao bean at its different stages in the process of making chocolate and also be involved with different preparations of it, so make sure your appetite is ready!

Tirimbina's Rainforest Adventure
Tirimbina is a private biological reserve located in the Sarapiqui region. Here, we run the chocolate tour in an old cocoa plantation. Besides this, the reserve has the largest hanging bridge in Costa Rica, ensuring a thrilling experience as you explore the lush rainforest around you.
Exploring Braulio Carrillo National Park
Braulio Carrillo National Park is one of the largest protected areas in Costa Rica with 50,000 hectares and is located in one of the areas with the steepest topography of the country. Situated Northside of Central Valley in the Central Volcanic Range, among the massifs of Poas and Irazu Volcanoes. This wonderful natural treasure includes Barva and Cacho Negro volcanoes. It has a maximum elevation of 9534 feet (2906 m) above sea level on top of Barva Volcano and records a minimum temperature of 37.4 Fahrenheit (3 °C) and maximum 75.6 Fahrenheit (24 °C). Due to the large altitudinal gradient spanning the park, precipitation is very varied and ranges from 8.2 feet (2500 mm) on the slopes overlooking the Central Valley up to 18.8 feet (5734 mm) in the Caribbean slope.
The Sarapiquí River Experience
The Sarapiquí River, or Rio Sarapiquí, in Costa Rica is a tributary of the San Juan River and forms the eastern border of Sarapiquí Canton. The area around the river is mostly lowlands tropical rainforest, having lush vegetation with a large variety of plant, animal, and insect life. During our tour, we will be visiting Hacienda Pozo Azul located right on one side of the river, where you will enjoy adventure tours.
