Once equipped for Scuba Diving, you'll be assisted by a porter carrying all necessary gear to embark on your first dive at the USAT Liberty Ship Wreck, lasting between 30-45 minutes. Post-dive, please enjoy some rest before heading to a local restaurant for lunch. The adventure continues with a second dive at the Coral Garden dive spot for another 30-45 minutes, immersing in a sea of vibrant corals that resemble a stunning underwater garden.
For certified divers (FUN scuba diving category), it's recommended not to exceed a depth of 30 meters. For those trying scuba diving without certification (TRY scuba diving category), the recommended maximum depth is 12 meters.
USAT Liberty Ship Wreck Exploration
The USAT Liberty was a cargo ship, fitted with a bow and stern gun for World War II, that was torpedoed by Japanese forces in the Lombok Strait on the morning of January 11, 1942. The vessel was towed towards Buleleng (Singaraja) but was beached at Tulamben to prevent sinking. This wreck provides a unique dive site offering easy conditions and rich biodiversity, especially renowned for rare marine animals that inhabit the Tulamben area.
Coral Garden Dive
After the first dive at the USAT Liberty Ship Wreck and a relaxing lunch break, the diving journey continues with a second dive at the Coral Garden. This dive, lasting 30-45 minutes, offers divers a chance to explore unique and captivating marine life amidst the coral beds.
