Itinerary

Balinese life is very diverse, starting from its livelihood, religion, culture, social life, rules in its village community and also concepts in the layout of buildings and their functions. You can feel like locals and do their all activities in Taman Anyar village, starting with visiting hall of villager community,visiting elementary school and meet with locals child,say hello to farmer in rice field with short walking rice fields,get insight about the family temple and welcome explore the family house,take part in making offering,bali snack and making satay,play and fun with enter the fields and compete to plant rice seeds in fields that have been plowed,and activities ended with lunch and accompaniment traditional music performance.

After all activities done in the village,the tour will continue heading to Tanah lot temple to see the historical temple.

Itinerary: Taman Anyar:
  • When you arrive at this village, you will be greeted with a traditional Balinese dance, which uses a saroong or kamen and you can take apart to participate in this short visit.
  • Visiting the elementary school in this village, this visit is only valid on the day of school entry. This unformal visiting is allowed by the school management and helps students to improve their language skills and also courage in social activities.
  • The participants will be taken to a traditional Balinese house to get to know more about the structure of the building, the layout of the building and the function of each part of the building. Then they will be introduced to the prayer area, namely the family temple located in the yard of the house.
  • In rice field you will be introduced with short walking tour, how to grow crops starting from planting rice seeds, fertilizing, harvest time and how to cultivate the soil again for replanting.
  • In the kitchen there are several activities such as making canang or offering flowers, seeing the processing of making virgin coconut oil, grinding coffee beans,there is also making satay, making traditional snacks (klepon) that you will not find in your country.
  • You will to introduced to farming rice,how to hoe, plant rice seeds and other technical made you get insight from direct local farmer. Please prepare a change of clothes, after this activity.
  • Local Balinese lunch served as a set menu. While having lunch you will be treated to a short local dance as a goodbye and a sign that the activities in the village have ended.

The temple, which is located in the village of Beraban, Tabanan Regency, has a fairly important historical value in the development of Hinduism in Bali. The temple which has an exotic view and is more beautiful to see at sunset time makes many visitors immortalize it in their photo memories. You can explore the temple area which is quite wide on foot, and take photos from various angles of the location.
