As we meander along Steingrimsfjordur's coast, keep your eyes peeled for the majestic humpback whales frolicking in the fjord - a sight that captivates the heart and soul.

Step into the Sorcerer's cottage to glimpse into 17th-century local life, where you'll understand the allure of sorcery in making daily existence bearable during harsh times. Continue the journey towards Djúpavík, a ghostly village that thrived during the herring boom, where the deserted factory and the rusted remains of Ms. Sudurland evoke feelings of stepping back in time to a more remote era.
